This flexible, stand-alone, patient bed monitoring system works alternatively with various-sized pressure sensor pads in the bed, or a floor mat sensor besides the bed. The Auto-reset Bedside Monitor features a loud sounder and LED alert. The Auto-reset Bedside Monitor is designed to detect a change in the pressure sensor pad placed under the patient, associated with the patient rising from the bed, or detect a change in the pressure with a person’s weight as they step onto the floor mat. The Auto-reset Bedside Monitor is installed on, or near to the bed, mounted in the most convenient position. Various sensors are plugged in, for example, to the pressure pad placed under the bed clothing beneath the patient, or to the floor mat sensor at the side of the bed. Housed in a stylish, white ABS plastic case, the unit is powered from a single 9V PP3 battery or additionally from a suitable 9 volt AC/DC power supply unit.
